Diabetes Mellitus is a disease in which the body is not capable of keeping glucose levels within their normal limits. There exist two basic types of Diabetes Mellitus: Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Typical symptoms are:
- thirst
- frequent urination
- blurred vision
- slower healing of wounds
- frequent infections, especially mucosal ones.
In both the types of Diabetes Mellitus, the symptoms are similar, in Type 1 Diabetes, they may be immediate and accentuated.
